Process

01 — Sound Mapping

Listening to the collection’s visual and sonic references to find an identity with a distinct rhythm.

Material references became the foundation of the Tide palette.

02 — Cover Language

Building a flexible graphic vocabulary that moves between record sleeves, posters, and digital formats.

Typography and movement establish a shifting shoreline rhythm.

03 — Type in Motion

Developing typographic compositions that suggest tempo, repetition, and the tactility of vinyl.

A flexible system carries from print to screen.

04 — Sleeve Studies

Exploring cover layouts and material details that give every release a recognizable presence.

Early references locate the project’s point of view.

05 — System Tuning

Refining hierarchy, colour, and scale so the identity stays clear across a growing catalogue.

Prototype studies test pace, scale, and material presence.

06 — On the Shelf

Releasing a cohesive system that gives the archive a new life for listeners and collectors.

Final applications bring the work into public view.
