Things Take Time
CAMPAIGN · 2026
Social Awareness · Mental Health · Spatial
A campaign that uses literal imagery to communicate the importance of waiting to reflect on the impatience we have developed due to short attention spans and immediate distractions like doomscrolling . Through a series of posters and other media placed in high-traffic public spaces, the campaign creates moments of pause and reflection while building a distinctive identity.
Process
01 — Attention Audit
Tracing the habits and visual triggers that make waiting feel unfamiliar in contemporary public life.

A shared colour language gives the campaign its public signal.
02 — Campaign Message
Distilling the project into a direct statement that creates room for reflection without preaching.

Spatial graphics hold the system together across formats.
03 — Poster Language
Building a bold visual vocabulary that interrupts the everyday scroll and holds attention in place.

The campaign flexes to meet different communities.
04 — Public Testing
Placing early work in busy environments to study what invites people to stop, read, and respond.

Early references locate the project’s point of view.
05 — Message Refinement
Sharpening language and images until every execution creates a small, meaningful pause.

Prototype studies test pace, scale, and material presence.
06 — Time Returned
Releasing a campaign that gives people permission to slow down and consider their own pace.

Final applications bring the work into public view.
